i have to say the lake district is absolutely beautiful, cliche i know, but cliche for a reason nonetheless. we stayed in a cute little village of braithwaite just outside keswick. although the weather wasn't completely fantastic and we didn't have our walking shoes with us, it was still gorgeous to get out and about.
bunny rabbits at beatrix potter house, of course. if you're ever in the area, do yourself a favour and pop in at her house at hilltop house - the wallpaper is the most gorgeous i have ever seen, unfortunately i wasn't able to take photos inside, but if you do get there, you'll see what i mean.
of course, wishes were to be had.
