this past weekend was midsummer celebrations in northern europe and me with norwegian heritage couldn't resist the chance to be part of the celebrations - e of our knitting group invited us to join her and the 700 or so swedes to celebrate midsummer with a picnic in hyde park. we had a fantastic time - lovely food, schnaps but the part that i loved the most was all the flowers in the hair - so absolutely beautiful.
not sure though about doing the frog (i think that's what its called) around the maypole.
e's wreath looking very professional.
