lucienne day

i have just been listening to bbc radio 4 (as you do of an evening) and heard that lucienne day - textile designer - has passed away.

radio 4 played a short interview with her in 2002 and something that she mentioned - a good textile designer is someone who can design around corners (or something to that effect). wonder what advice she would have for knitters!
