now here's one for the erm, books. a new book out which looks at knitting as an art form, social activism as well as the oral history and new technique of knitting. its called "in the loop : knitting now" by jessica hemmings.
some photos were featured on the guardian site and i picked out a few of my favourites (i passed on the knitting with human hair shot.......i just couldn't bring myself to do that!)
